Access to Reports
Access to reports is by request only, although most reports will routinely be made available to anyone in ASC. If you have not done so yet, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to gain access.
The Admissions Reports folder contains a variety of reports summarized in the Admissions Yield Update reports. These reports give weekly or bi-weekly updates on admissions, admits, and paid status with comparisons to the previous year. Produced during the admissions season. Begins bi-weekly but changes to weekly as the admissions deadline approaches.
ASC 15th Day Reports
The ASC 15th Day Reports contain credit hours, course enrollments and majors based on official 15th day data. These reports compare multiple years of data to identify trends. Two versions are produced - one that compares semester to semester, and a Fiscal Year end version that compares an entire fiscal year to previous fiscal years. Credit hour data is not adjusted for semesters and winter terms are not included in comparisons of individual terms. Major counts include undergraduate majors only. Data is presented both as counts and as a market share percentage of the total OSU counts.
Budget - Schedule A Breakdown Report
The Budget - Schedule A Breakdown Report contains key budget calculations such as UG and Graduate Fees, State Subside Categories and revenues, fee revenue, IDC projections, POM breakdown, Research Admin breakdowns, Student Services breakdowns and Distance Education assessment. This document is used for resource planning based on marginal change.
Course Enrollment Reports
The Course Enrollment Report is an interactive tool to enable departments to create custom views of course enrollment and credit hour numbers based on 15th day data. Users can select department, career, desired term, etc. to produce the report they need. There are two versions - one for Windows and one for Mac so that the report can be viewed on either platform. This is the same data used to produced the ASC 15th Day Reports.
Credit Hour Contributions by Majors and Minors
The Credit Hour Contributions by Majors and Minors Report is created shortly after the 15th day of a term. This report breaks out total credit hours for each deparment into four categories: Ugrd Majors, Ugrd Minors, Grad Majors and All Others. There is a second tab in the spreadsheet that allows you to see the student's college of origin for all the credit hours generated in the "All Other" category.
eReports Quick Start Guides
The Quick Start Guides were created by Martha Nieset to give users a quick reminder about how to access eReports to answer commonly asked questions. The guides also include information on how to use and save .bqy files. If you have suggestions on a new topic for the Quick Start Guides, please contact email@example.com.
Faculty Load Reports
The Faculty Load Report is an interactive view of the actual credit hours and enrollment for each faculty member for the past Fiscal Year. The credit hours and enrollment numbers are based on the instructor of record in the Budget Restructuring RMS900 reports and may not be complete. These reports are created once a year in the early spring by ASC Reporting Services.
Faculty Teaching Inventories
These Faculty Teaching Inventories contain the plan of the courses that the tenure track faculty in each department will teach in the upcoming fiscal year. It shows their total course load responsibilities along with any adjustments to that load. These reports will be are created in the early spring by the individual departments and collected by ASC Reporting Services. The reports will be refreshed at the start of each term to ensure changes are captured.
Gender and Ethnicity by Department
The Reported Gender and Ethnicity by Department report contains percentages of gender and ethnicity for each department in ASC. Each department is accessed through a dropdown list. The reports is produced each Spring and Autumn semester by ASC Reporting Services.
Graduation Surveys are completed by our graduates just prior to their graduation date. These surveys contain information about their satisfaction with OSU and their major plans. These reports are created once a year just after Spring graduation. The surveys are administered by the Office of Student Life and the reports are created by ASC Reporting Services.
The Major Reports are an interactive table and chart that allow the user to select plan types by division or department to for a quick view of the 15th day snapshot for paid or enrolled students. These reports are based on the 15th day snapshots and are created just after the 15th day of each term by ASC Reporting Services.
Major Movement Reports
The Major Movement Reports track majors who have switched into and out of a specific plan. The plans are grouped by department and each department can be selected using a dropdown box. These reports are based on the 15th day Majors data and are produced every Spring and Autumn semester by ASC Reporting Services.
Ratio Data Reports
The Ratio Data Reports contain information about credit hours per FTE, majors per FTE and and costs per FTE. These reports are created once a year just prior to budget reviews in the early spring by ASC Reporting Services working with the Finance officers.
Research Expenditures - Summary
The Resarch Expenditures - Summary report contains a comparision of research expenditures in current and previous fiscal years by department in ASC.
Research Expenditures - Proposals Expenditures Awards
The Research Expenditures - Proposals Expenditures Awards report contains a 5 year trend of Proposals, Awards, Expenditure Sponsor Totals and Sponsor F&A by departments.
Weekly Course Enrollment Snapshots
The Weekly Course Enrollment Snapshot Reports are created at the beginning of each week in advance of the upcoming term. These reports are similar to the OESAR Course Enrollment Reports, but additionally contain credit hours and roll up to department and college levels.
